My Problem
Battery status would fluctuate from 30% to maybe 5% in minutes. Once plugged in it would go right to 30-40%. Battery was only about 14 months old before it started acting up.
My Fix
Easy to change the battery. Apple uses adhesive tape similar to command tape so battery releases without a problem. It took longer to unscrew the 6 screws then it did to replace the battery itself.
My Advice
Pull tape slowly so it doesn't break. If you follow the directions at this site you can't fail. Didn't need the plastic cards to remove battery at all. Once you pull the tape out the battery will fall right out.
