Mac Bites the Dust

My Problem

My Mac started flashing the the "?" on startup. After I got a external USB casing, I realized the hard drive was fine. I didn't want to pay the Genius guys $$$$$$$$$, so I did a bit of research ad "hoped" it was the hard drive cabling.

My Fix

Followed some online videos and replaced my cabling. That was the easy part. The hard part was reformatting and restoring the contents to a state that was manageable.

My Advice

Go with SSD drives all the time.
