My Problem
Daughter dropped her iPhone 4S with a battery that was only lasting 2 hours, and obliterated her screen. Had a plan in mind for her 16th birthday.
My Fix
The innards of the iPhone are a bit fiddlier than I expected but with the online instructions on iFixit, I replaced the smashed screen, replaced the old battery, and fitted a mophie juice pack. The phone looks brand new and the battery lasts all day withouth charging and when she is not in school, she is on it all day, virtually.
My Advice
One very happy 15 and 11 month old daughter, that's good enough for me. Only thing I wish I had was one of those hands free magnifying glasses, eyesights not the best these days.
