Hard Drive replacement on an iMac 21.5

My Problem

My client IMac's hard drive was failing and Disk Utility suggested him to backup his data and have it replaced

The adhesive strips are a must: without them you cannot keep the screen attached to the frame

My Advice

My personal advice would be to avoid to use the adhesive strip that is located at the bottom of the screen since it is very easy to place back the screen in a wrong alignment and then you will need to detach it again and risk to break it. The adhesive strips on the three sides( right, up, left) are more than enough to hold the screen tight to the frame.
