My Problem
Battery became first inaccurate, then slowly wouldn't stay powered on off a charging cord.
My Fix
iSclack made opening the screen really easy, and everything else went smoothly save the elastic strips that holds the battery.
The guide says to cut the black tab between the two white strips, and then to pull them straight up as you move it down the side of the battery.
Well, being elastic strips, they snapped. Had to use the card to pry the battery of. That was slightly harrowing, but it eventually came off. After that, the new battery worked like a charm.
My Advice
Back up your phone before doing the repair. Ensure that is is an ENCRYPTED back up or certain apps etc won't actually be backed up.
