My Problem
My father had his phone in his back pocket with an otterbox case on it, and the plastic near the home button crushed the screen when he sat down. The whole lower half of the screen was nearly unusable.
My Fix
The repair was very smooth and went better than I expected. I had repaired an iPod touch 4g last year and this was way easier. I just went slow and followed the guide. Positioning the proximity sensor took a couple tries but other than that everything went off without a hitch. The provided tools were helpful and I organized the screws by size.
My Advice
Like everyone else says, take your time and follow the guide. ORGANIZATION IS A LIFESAVER.
