My Problem
The front panel digitizer was shattered. I bought a replacement on iFixit.
My Fix
It went well. The most difficult part was just getting the phone opened.
My Advice
I really recommend using the magnetic mat while you repair your phone. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the iSclacks to work as advertised. The suction cup on the iSclack refused to stay on the screen even with tape over the cracks.
