My Problem

Computer started running very lagging and I finally got the infamous flashing question mark folder. Took it to Geek Squad because I didn't own Apple Care, and they said it would cost $380 to fix a damaged hard drive and/or maybe damaged Sata Cable. So I asked my electrical Engineering friend what he thought about that and he told me to do some research and fix it myself.

My Fix

The repair went great! All the videos from ifxit and youtube helped tremendously. I got my supplies for under $150 to fix my computer while geek squad wanted $380.

My Advice

When you open up the bottom of the computer it may seem intimidating, but don't worry you barely have to touch anything. Just watch and listen to the videos carefully, unscrew a couple things, click some things in, screw some things back in and bam the computer should be running better than ever!
