Almost lost it...

My Problem

I was on YouTube when my MacBook shut itself down. After a few moments I was met with the blinking folder question mark of death.

My Fix

I tried swapping out the internal hard drive. Everything I researched said that must be the problem. Doing so solved nothing, though. As a last resort before taking it in to the Apple Store I tried replacing the hard drive cable. Everything works just as before.

My Advice

Get Apple Care. If you don't have it, do a little research before taking your product in. I saved a lot of money by fixing the problem myself. Thanks, iFixIt!
