My Problem

My MacBook Pro, five years old, and had a dying battery. I had put in a SSD last year and other than that it fit the bill. Now with my new battery I can use it for a couple of years. By Investing the money that was saved that would have been spent replacing the MacBook Pro, I can now see what they have to offer down the road. This works just fine for all that I use it for.

My Fix

Very well, took around 20 minutes. I had all of the recommended tools laid out, a good light and a dish for the screws. The instructions were perfect. I did have my iPad by my side with the whole procedure to refer to as I went along.. Not that you would pass it on but I am over 75 thus anyone younger shouldn't hesitate to do this repair.

My Advice

Have a device by your side to refer to while working. The visuals from your site are so helpful. Also have the correct tools on hand. Might think about buying a white board to locate the removed screws as they are taken out.
