My Problem
Long-time 4S companion's battery life had become erratic and much lowered wrt expected/original battery life with irregular charging time and capacity, and jumps when discharging (e.g. 35% -> 1% in a few seconds)
My Fix
Little issue.
Had seen comments about how bonded the original battery was, had not expected that I'd basically had to break it in half for it to finally surrender. Also more lint than expected had entered the phone.
Aside from these, the guide did a great job and the battery change went without a hitch.
My Advice
It's a bit terrifying when the original battery starts breaking instead of yielding, but don't worry too much over it, as long as you don't tear it open thing'll be peachy.
