My Problem
My son sat on his phone and shattered the screen and managed to tear the home button loose.
My Fix
The repair process was a piece of cake! The kit I received had everything I needed. I ordered the more expensive screen because it included the camera and I didn't want to spend the time transferring the old components in case they were also damaged.
There really wasn't any excitement during the installation process; no rogue ravens, no hostile takeovers, and no lost parts. I attribute this lack of excitement to the completeness of the kit and the excellent documentation on the iFixit site.
The screen replacement took about 30 minutes.
My Advice
Follow the instructions and the installation will be flawless.
