My Problem
broken glass
My Fix
it was tricky, but I managed to get all the tiny pieces in place and the phone works perfectly.
My Advice
This is really a 2-person job. My wife held things in place for me while I placed tiny screws and other bits in there proper positions. I don't think i could have done it alone. Also, when you put the phone back together, make sure to slide the bottom edge (the edge with the ribbon cables) in first. There's a small tab that fits in on that side, and if you don't slide it in first the panel won't snap on correctly. Once I did that I set the glass surface on a flat table, and firmly pushed down on the back of the phone, applying even pressure without bending the glass. If you try to snap the glass on by pushing with your fingers on the front, the glass bends and distorts in a way that made me worried it might crack.
