My Problem
After two years my iPhone would not keep a charge all day and seemed to randomly go from a 40% charge to nothing at all.
My Fix
The repair, from opening the IIFixIt box to completion, took nine minutes. It could not have been simpler. My iPhone stays charged for a day and a half now!
My Advice
As other posters have noted, pay attention to the little grounding tab that comes off when you unscrew the battery connector. Also, the battery connector connects by pushing DOWN, not by trying to slide it into the pins.
