MacBook Pro suddenly stopped working

My Problem

I was comfortably checking my emails when suddenly the clicks didn't went anywhere. I forced the restart pushing the power button, but it didn't worked as well, as it showed the famous screen with a question marked folder. I almost started to cry, but remembered that did the Time Machine backup the night before, so somehow I was calm. A quick research on the web (with an iPad) and I figured it out: it's the Hard Drive! So I went to a shop, bought the same model of HD, came back home, installed it, and guess what: didn't worked. That's when I saw this topic on iFixit, and realized what could have actually happened.

My Fix

I placed the order here at iFixit, a brand new Hard Drive cable, and when it came, only took around 20 minutes to fix. I actually installed the original HD, and hopefully everything worked perfect!

My Advice

Don't be afraid to use the iFixit guides. I also strongly recommend order directly from them. They were very quick on the shipment (I live outside of US). Thank you, iFixit!
