My Problem
The EMC 2805 was available on Black Friday for only $800, but performance on this model was really a step down. Upgrading with a $79 250MB Samsung 840 EVO was my way to compensate.

Absolutely smoothly. Step-by-step photos and instructions were really pretty ideal.
My Advice
With Yosemite and Boot Camp, this machine also makes a great Windows All-in-One. Performance index on Win7 x64 is 6.8, with limiting factor being integrated graphics. CPU is 6.9, RAM is 7.4 and SSD is 7.9 out of 7.9. Not bad for less than $900 total cost.
