Easy Repair - Great Experience

My Problem

My iMAC was making a very loud buzzing sound that got louder as I increased the brightness on the screen. Initially I thought that it was a fan or the hard disk. After some research I discovered that the problem was the power supply

My Fix

I reviewed the repair guide from iFix it. Ordered a new power supply. It arrived promptly and following the guide I was able to do the repair in a few minutes. My computer is back to being very quiet.

My Advice

Have a flash light handy as removing the cables from the monitor can be a bit tricky and hard to see.
