My Problem
My mac was giving me a question mark folder when i turn it on, after some googling i figured out the hard drive cable needed to be replaced. Now i've done a bigger repaid and loved the fast shipping while i was in the US. But this time i'm in canada and I wanted to fix it as soon as possibe.
My Fix
I made my order online from ifixit, it was the cheapest price. But afterwards i was shocked because it says it would take 3-4 weeks to deliver so i tried canceling but they've already shipped the item. I wasn't expected it but the part did actually arrive in a week or so and i got right into my fix. With the 25$ essential electronic toolkit i've already order before, i was done with in minutes and my macbook was up and running.
My Advice
If you got a cable problem and the philips screw driver (you don't even need the full kit) just do it. This repair is really easy. I went for the used cable price when i ordered it and it working perfectly.
