Pain in the neck, but the repair fixed it!

My Problem

The home button contact on the phone broke a spring contact.

My Fix

It was laborious and tricky. It took some finesse. Patience was required. I had to take the new one out a couple of times to adjust here and there.

My Advice

Be gentle. The parts are fragile.

Be patient. Give yourself a couple hours to do it.

Be observant. Look at how the old part was in before replacement.
