What Was I Waiting For: Silence Is Golden

My Problem

The left fan in my 2009 MacBook Pro became so loud, and the noise so constant, that for the first time ever I was dreading every time I turned on my Mac. I dealt with this annoyance for well over a year, before I finally broke down and decided to fix it myself.

My Fix

The repair couldn't have been easier, and I'm so exponentially happier now using my Mac in complete silence, that I'm angry at myself that I waited so long to make the fix.

My Advice

If there's was one thing I wish I knew beforehand, it would be just how easy a fix this is. Also, that the new fan wouldn't simply be quieter, it would be silent. A fantastic improvement!
