My Problem
Had a 2007 MacBook core 2 duo which I used regularly until the battery died a year ago. I still powered it on once in a while but having to plug it to the wall was frustrating so it was finally abandoned and not used for the last 6 months.
Then I saw that battery were not too expensive on iFixit and decide to make the leap.
My Fix
Good I did, the battery came fully charged and to my surprise I had 5h of battery life. This is not one of the new super laptop with super extra batteries. Of course that went down when I really started using it but still have 3h of battery. Very happy indeed. :)
My Advice
I hesitated a lot because of the price of a new battery but was very happy at the end. If you love your Mac as I did, go ahead :)
