tried to replace just glass first, LCD cracked

My Problem

Cracked screen.

My Fix

My first attempt to fix my screen was to replace only the glass. But in the process of removing the glass I perminetly damaged the LCD and I was forced to replace the full front assembly. This process was very straight forward and went off without a hitch. I did end up with one missing screw.

My Advice

The glass is very difficult to remove. I ended up putting the pry bar under the polorized glass instead of just under the first layor of glass. The full assembly instructions were great, no lessons learned there.
