My Problem
Front glass was shattered and falling apart. Attempted to get it fixed at a retail store in Houston for $75.00. It was returned in generally worse shape. There was scratches on the screen [or just behind it] and the touch response was all but gone, with adhesive oozing out the side of the glass. It was returned with rubber bands around it and my daughter was told to leave them on for 4 hours minimum. When we returned to complain they basically said no refunds sorry, you should have ordered a digitizer with your glass. This all happened to my daughter, and she did not know what they were talking about and they did not offer the digitizer. Buyer beware! That is what led me to IFIXIT again.
My Fix
The repair was pretty straight forward, just need to watch the delicate structure. The phone looked and worked flawlessly when I was done!
My Advice
If its too good to be true, it is. Stick with IFIXIT products. Use the instruction and videos, before during and just before closing up. Take your time don't rush...it will pay dividends!
