Device Info
Apple made a bold design change with the iPod Nano 3rd Gen, switching to a shorter and wider form factor. The larger screen can now display video, and there are several unique case colors to choose from.
This device features flash memory permanently affixed to the logic board. While replacing a broken logic board, you can upgrade to 8 GB of memory! Be aware that you will need a new rear panel every time you open this iPod (Apple designed these to not be user-serviceable, which isn't very nice).
Although the battery is soldered to the logic board, it is user-replaceable! Our replacement battery includes tools necessary for repair, and our repair guide shows you how to complete the repair (it even includes a soldering guide!)
