I went through the tutorial and was apprehensive about the 2-3 hour timeline. Then I looked at the reviews and saw that skipping removal of the mother board was an option. Skipped that step and it was pretty easy. Glad I looked at the reviews.

Skip steps 22 - 33 and 37-43. You DO NOT need to remove the logic board to get the lightening connector out. Just work around it.
