Note: the Touch ID function will only work with your phone's original home button assembly. This replacement part does not include the home button. You will need to transfer the button assembly from your old display to retain Touch ID.

Had to charge the battery three to four times a day, and phone performance was degraded.

My Problem

The iPhone screen was shredded and cracked

My Fix

Went very well

My Advice

i think it would be better to have the screws bids color coded so it would be easier to distinguish between the different sizes

My Problem

Broken screen

My Fix

Perfectly with two exceptions. Since the screen was shattered, the suction cup wouldn't stick. I found the solution online: put duck tape over the screen. This should be noted in the iFixit instructions. Problem number two. I was left with an extra screw from the touchID assembly. . . .

My Problem

Broke my screen and wanted to replace myself. I purchased the fully assembled front panel to make life easier rather than replace each component separately.

My Fix

The repair went great. The online tutorial was easy to follow and use. One hiccup... the front facing camera and sensor cable did not work on my . . .

My Problem

A iPhone screen cracked on cement

My Fix

The repair process, although technical, and requiring an assistant (to improve the process), took far less time and technical skill than I supposed. I think that most people would be able to accomplish this repair!

My Advice

Do this with a friend to help hold things! Make sure . . .

My Problem

I made a damaged digitizer worse by checking the connections and fiddling around. Simply replacing the whole screen and digitizer did the trick.

My Fix

Granted, it was not my first work on an iPhone 6. I had replaced a battery on one about a year ago and just replaced antennas on another two weeks ago. F . . .

My Problem

I had dropped my screen and it was slowly coming apart in my pocket

My Fix

I was able to remove and replace the screen, including the home button, in roughly 20 minutes.

My Advice

When I replace screens, I always turn the phone on and ensure the connection to the screen is good before I seal everything back up.

My Problem

Broken screen.

My Fix

No issues whatsoever. It only takes about 20-30 minutes. The step by step guide and video was perfect!

My Advice

Maybe a smaller suction cup. I replaced two screens and they were both cracked and broken on the bottom of the phone. This made it very difficult for the suction cup to have enoug . . .
