My Problem

iPad was dropped and impact was on the bottom right-hand corner. This caused the screen to not only crack but spider web. The concern was that the small shards of glass could cause injury if used in its current condition.

Screen was broken when it fell off the roof of the car and hit a rock on the edge of the screen.

Repair went well, as usual the hardest part to me is removing the broken glass without stabbing yourself, I managed to stick the end of my thumb with the tweezers, but better than embedding glass in my ha . . .

My Fix

This job is tedious, especially if your screen has totally sharted itself. One thing that I didn't consider is that if the aluminium is bent (i.e. the iPad has suffered from a decent fall) the new screen may not fit inside it. I couldn't bend it back into shape, but its eas . . .
