The repair never happened because I never received the item I ordered and was forced to order it again. When I asked if a replacement can be sent via mail, I was advised to file a police report online which is not possible in NY. The FAQ says someone will get back to you the same . . .

iPhone had a shattered screen

My Fix

Smooth. iPhone 5S screen replacement is significantly easier than the 4S. With it being a clamshell design, you really only need to unscrew nine screws and you're on your way.

My Advice

1) take your time

2) lay a white towel down to keep parts organized and from rolling/sliding . . .

Dropped my iPhone 5s on corner and shattered corner of screen

My Fix

I followed the instructions with accommodating pictures. I got in and out with the basic kit that was provided with the replacement screen in about 20 minutes. Very quick and intuitive, but I discovered through my own mistake that I missed . . .

My Advice

Read, Read again and Re-read instructions and Note the tips from users. Add user notes to instructions at proper step to avoid mistakes. Steps sometimes out of logical sequence and user tips do help. Some steps unnecessary based on user tips. Patience, . . .
