The assembly includes the sleep sensor, which detects a magnet located in the display assembly to automatically put the computer to sleep when the lid is closed.

My Problem

battery wouldn't' charge and had an "x" on it. New battery - same thing. Replace this part - didn't solve the problem. I guess it's just a desktop now.

My Fix

Directions were easy. Printed out instructions and taped screws as I removed them to the correct procedure on the paper. Too bad it didn't fix t . . .

My Problem

Apple MacBook is not recognizing my battery. The old battery was dead, but it appears the problem was something else. I purchased a new battery and still the Macbook won't recognize the battery.
