Well I had it diagnosed by a pro, but wasn't going to get it fixed. At 750 it wasn't worth it. At 450, it was.

Apple MacBook Air suddenly decided to quit, no apparent reason.
Back-up of data, but not of all installed programs and their settings, including stuff like painstakingly tweaked 3D printer driver.
Downloading circuit diagrams and testing with DMM and scope did not really reveal cause, noticed some . . .

It was an incredibly easy process. I just followed the step by step instructions on Ifixit for removing the old logic board and installing the new one. I did not need to look to any outside resources for additional instructions
