My MBP's LCD Screen was broken. So I purchased a new LCD Screen for A1278 device.

After putting connecting all the cables back to where they were. I decided to turn on the MBP and test the new screen.

The screen is black with no backlight/brightness. I can actually see Apple logo, logon screen and everything by putting a bright light over the screen. Everything is operational except it has no light.

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.
