Shipping Policy – US Store
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on iFixit.com and shipped from the United States.
Where we ship from
Orders placed on iFixit.com ship from our US warehouses in San Luis Obispo California or Chattanooga Tennessee.
Order processing time
Most in stock orders are prepared and shipped within 1 business day.
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 4 P.M. Eastern Standard Time generally begin processing the same business day. Orders placed after 4 P.M. EST, or on weekends or US federal holidays, begin processing the next business day.
During peak periods or promotions, processing times may be longer.
Shipping locations
We ship to destinations shown at checkout, including all 50 US states, US territories, PO, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses and select international destinations.
Some products may have shipping restrictions based on destination or shipping regulations. If an address is not eligible for shipment, available options will be shown during checkout.
Shipping options and delivery estimates
Available shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your order.
Most delivery dates and transit times are estimates and can be affected by carrier operations, weather, inspections, customs processing, or other factors outside of our control.
If a shipping option is shown at checkout as guaranteed, the guarantee is provided by the carrier under its service terms and generally applies to transit time after shipment. It does not cover order processing time and may not apply if delivery cannot be completed as addressed.

Customs, duties, and import fees
For international shipments from the US store, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Free standard shipping
Free standard shipping is available on eligible orders of $75 or more shipped within the contiguous United States.
Free shipping applies to standard shipping only and does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories.
Some items may not qualify for free shipping due to shipping restrictions, carrier requirements, or the contents of the order. Eligibility and available options are shown at checkout.

Batteries, dangerous goods, and regulated items
Some products, including batteries and other regulated or hazardous items, are subject to shipping restrictions. These restrictions may limit the following:
- Eligible destinations
- Available shipping method
- Delivery speeds
If your order contains a restricted item, the available shipping options will be shown at checkout.
In some cases, our support team may contact you if changes are required before shipment.
Tracking information
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Tracking updates may take 1 to 2 business days to appear after a shipping label is created.
Incorrect address or failed delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to collect the package, we are not able to reship or reroute the order. Once the return is delivered back to our facility, we will process the order as a return for a refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable, and carrier return fees may be deducted from the refund.
If a shipment is returned to us due to carrier handling or damage in transit, we will review the return after it arrives and follow up with next steps.
Lost, delayed, or damaged packages
If your package is delayed, missing, or arrives damaged, please contact us so we can help determine next steps.
Resolution may depend on carrier investigation, delivery confirmation, or documentation such as photos of damage.
If a shipment is determined to be lost, delayed beyond carrier resolution, or reported missing after delivery, for security purposes we are only able to offer a replacement, not a refund. Any replacement, if offered, can only be shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout. Replacements issued for these shipments cannot be returned for a refund.
Freight forwarders, hotels, and mail forwarding services
If you choose to ship your order to a hotel, mail forwarding service, or freight forwarder, the shipment is considered delivered once it arrives at that address.
Because we cannot verify handling after delivery to a third party location, we may be limited in the resolutions we can offer for loss or damage reported after delivery to that address.
