US International Shipping Options

iFixit's mission is a global mission. We are committed to providing excellent service and support for the global community. With that being said, international shipping can be complicated so we want to provide you as much information as we can. We ship to the following countries from iFixit.com, which ship from our warehouses in the USA:

• A - B -  Argentina, Australia, Bahrain
• C - F -  Canada, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Faroe Islands
• G - L -  Greenland, Guadeloupe, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan; Korea, Republic of (South Korea)
• M - Q -  Macao, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico*, Nigeria, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar
• R - S -  Réunion, Saint Barthélemy, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa

Sorry, but we do not ship to any countries that are not on this list. However, please check back as the list of supported countries can change over time.

Battery Shipping Restrictions

Due to shipping regulations, lithium ion batteries ordered from iFixit.com can only be shipped to Canada and Mexico. We are unable to ship batteries to any other international destinations from the U.S. storefront.

Please note: If you're shipping to  Puerto Rico (or Guam), please select ' United States' as the Country and input ' PR' (or ' GU') for the state at checkout.  You will be presented with  Domestic Shipping options.

International Billing and Delivery Speed:

When using your credit card, you will be billed in USD Currency and your credit card company will bill you with your local currency at the current exchange rate.

Please note that international delivery speed and availability is variable and subject to change quickly. Some countries have limited available shipping options. The shipping options shown at checkout reflect the current available shipping options for that country.

What does the shipping charge from iFixit cover?

The shipping and handling fee charged by iFixit at the time of purchase covers the transportation charges for the carrier of the package. It does not include any duties, taxes, customs fees or brokerage fees. Duties, taxes, customs, and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please be prepared to pay these fees when your package is delivered. Please note that these fees are specific for the destination country, and we do not know what the amount will be.

If the package is refused or returned to us, all customs charges or fees will be charged to you. If a shipment is refused and returned, you will be responsible for any import taxes and/or return shipping costs incurred by iFixit.

Sometimes your country's customs department will require additional information in order to clear your shipment for delivery. If they ask you for an invoice or commercial invoice, you can find a copy of that by looking at your order history under your profile. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

Why can't iFixit pay the duties and taxes for me? I'm willing to pay for them at the time of purchase.

• If we could tell you exactly how much the duties and taxes were going to be, we would be happy to pay them on your behalf. The problem is that there are so many different laws, regulations, and special circumstances that it's extremely hard to estimate them accurately.

The duties and taxes are too expensive! Can I send the package back to you and cancel my order?

• Sorry, but no, you can't. If a package is refused and returned to us, we will have to charge the return shipping cost to the intended recipient. Any duties, taxes or other fees will also be charged back to the intended recipient.

Why am I being charged by the shipping carrier for the duties and taxes? I thought these fees are applied by my country's customs department.

• Depending on the shipping method you selected, the carrier may pay the duties and taxes on your behalf in order to expedite the delivery of your package. The shipping carrier will then bill you for those duties and taxes afterwards. Sometimes the shipping carrier will charge a fee for this service and apply it to the bill. Can iFixit indicate on the customs forms that the package is gift or that it has no value so I don't have to pay any taxes or fees?

• This is illegal. We are a retail store and we have to indicate all items as merchandise

As of January 2025, the Mexican government requires the collection of the tax ID, RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) on orders under $2,500 USD shipping into Mexico. To pass customs in Mexico, it must be added to the shipping label prior to fulfillment (learn more).

To avoid customs issues, you will need to provide the RFC, CURP or foreign tax ID during the checkout process. Please note that failure to provide it may result in order cancellation.

In the absence of a personal RFC, CURP or foreign tax ID, then you may use a generic RFC instead:

• XEXX010101000 - If you have residency outside Mexico.
• XAXX010101000 - If you have residency in Mexico as either a citizen or an expatriate.
