    • Use a Torx Plus 2IP screwdriver to remove the 3.0 mm‑long screw from both watch band grooves (two screws total).

    • Both screws have a tiny O‑ring. If they don't lift away with the screw, use a pair of tweezers to carefully remove them from the band groove and set them aside. These O-rings are required to maintain waterproofing.

    • Handle these O-rings carefully. Avoid pinching or slicing them with your tool.

    • During reassembly:

    • Make sure the O‑rings are on the screws before installing them.

    • Push down firmly on the back glass while installing the screws to make sure the glass gets properly seated.

    • If there's a gap between the back glass and frame, remove the screws and reinstall them.

    • If you plan to reuse the existing O-ring, be gentle when handling it—especially with sharp tweezers. Even a small indent may compromise the watch's water and dust resistance.

    • Use a pair of tweezers to remove the screen O‑ring—it will either be stuck to the frame or the underside of the screen.

    • If the O‑ring's groove is dirty or has gunk built up, apply a few drops of high‑concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol to a cotton swab and wipe it clean.

    • Avoid applying isopropyl alcohol to the magnetic strip on the side opposite the crown.

    • Place the new O‑ring loosely onto its lip on the frame.

    • Optionally, coat the O-ring in a small amount of O-ring-specific grease during installation.

    • Use your fingers to hold the O-ring in place and use a spudger to slide the opposite side up and over the lip until it seats in its groove.

    • Make sure the entire O‑ring is properly seated in its groove before continuing reassembly.

I've reassembled after a screen replacement and the watch wont boot. Is this most likely a battery connector problem?

I have the same issue. The watch wont boot after reassembling

Yurii Abramkin - Reply Share

I had the same issue. The Solution was to leave it on the charger for 15-20 Minutes. On the charger it showed the Google-Logo and then 0%, after a few minutes it showed the real 100% again and the watch worked without anny issues.
