Acer Spin 5 N17W2 Battery Replacement

If your laptop run out of battery quickly, it is possible that the battery is having some problems. In this case, you might want to replace your laptop battery. This manual shows you the steps to replace the battery!

For your safety, discharge your battery below 25% before disassembling your device. This reduces the risk of a dangerous thermal event if the battery is accidentally damaged during the repair. If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions.

What you need

    • Be sure to power off and unplug your device before you begin your repair.

    • Remove the twelve screws on the back cover using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Use an opening tool to pry the back cover open.

    • Remove two 4 mm screws at the two corners of the battery using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Carefully remove the three tapes on the battery.
