Identification and Background
The iHome iP37 is a versatile device. It can play music from an audio device through either the Apple Legacy port or the 3.5 mm audio jack on the side. An attachable clip is included so it can be attached to a backpack or belt. The system itself contains two main sections: the speakers on top and the interface and power on the bottom. Each section forms a half-shell and the two are hinged on the long axis. The two speakers in the top are covered by a large grating for protection. The lower section contains the casing for the four AA batteries, the Legacy dock, and the three buttons. The three buttons toggle the power, volume-down, and volume-up respectively. The dock contains the legacy port interface for the music player and space for a clip-in adapter piece for a specific device. Three adapters are included for the iPod Touch 2G, the iPod Touch 4G or iPod Nano 6G, and the iPhone 4 or iPhone4S. The lower section also has the DC input port for the included AC adapter and a 3.5 mm audio jack where a music device can be played via the appropriate audio cable.
For additional device model information, check under the battery casing and reference the manufacturer's model page. This will not include the last letter (for example, the model identifier for the listing iP37-B-A is the iP37B).
