The Samsung SGH-T639 flip phone was the first phone made to support T-Mobile's 3G network. It was released in 2007 and is easily distinguished from other phones released in that time period because of its extrenal screen and front design. The Samsung SGH-T639 has four interchangeable colored face plates and also contains a long slender display screen on the front.
