The Galaxy S3 Mini was released as a "value" version of the Galaxy S3 in November 2012 that boasts a sleek design and innovative features. It operates using Android 4.4.2 (Jelly Bean) and runs on a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core Cortex-A9 Processor. The Galaxy S3 Mini has both a rear and front camera, enhanced by LED Flash and Auto-Focus. The phone has two external speakers, one on the front and the other on the back. There are three buttons, the power, home and volume control. It features a 4" Multi-Touch screen and 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Four colors are available for the Galaxy S3 Mini, blue, grey, white, and red.
To find the model number of the phone simply turn it on and the information will appear on the screen as the phone boots up. Additionally, there is an identification sticker under the battery that will have the model number and phone information. The Galaxy S3 Mini can be differentiated from the S2 or S4 models by its rounded shape. Both the S2 and S4 models are rectangular shape with rounded corners, whereas the S3 had rounded bottom and top edges giving it a unique look.
