The Nikon Coolpix L26 was released in February 2012 and is one part of a three part L series that includes L25 and L810. The Nikon Coolpix series prides itself for being a a compact digital camera series for point and shoot photo phototaking.
The Nikon Coolpix L26 comes in two colors, black, grey and red. In its original packaging, it comes with a camera strap, USB Cable UC-E16, ViewNX 2 Installer CD, eference Manual CD and two AA alkaline batteries.
Important features of this model include the CCD image sensor with a 16.1 million pixel count as well as a 5x zoom and a larger LCD monitor. It also has an easy auto shooting mode and a movie record button to make movies. Two AA batteries are required for use.
It has a reputation as a low quality product and has been known to suddenly turn off during operation. This camera has an average of 200 shots per two alkaline AA batteries.
