The Logitech MX Master 3S was released in 2022 as the direct successor to 2019's MX Master 3. Physically identical, the 3S features three key upgrades over the MX Master 3:
- Up to 90% quieter click noise. The "S" in 3S reportedly stands for "Silent."
- Logi Bolt wireless technology instead of the Logitech Unifying receiver.
- Higher resolution: 8000 dpi, up from 4000.

The model and part numbers can be found printed sideways on a large sticker on the mouse's underside. The device's serial number is also listed here, labeled "S/N."
