Released in 2015, the Asus Chromebook 300SA-DS02 is a Chinese manufactured low-cost laptop designed for internet browsing. Chromebook laptops use Google Chrome for an operating system as opposed to Windows 10 or macOS. Like the 200 series, the 300 contains all of the same components but with a larger 13.3 inch screen.
The 300SA is designed to be slim with rounded surfaces allowing for on the go capability. Compared to the previous generation, the connectivity is now 3 times faster due to the 802.11ac Wi-Fi hardware. Built in to the device is a TPM chip protecting hardware and core system files from malicious attacks. The laptop is available in three colors; red, yellow, and blue.
