Charging port LED flashing green, won’t power on

I replaced my chromebooks LCD screen and now when I try to power on the chromebook the LED beside the charging port slowly flashes green (green for about 2 secs, off, green for 2 secs, off, etc).

Does anyone know what this means? I’m not sure if it signifies something I haven’t connected correctly when replacing the screen.

TIA

Answer this question I have this problem too

I had the same problem, mine won’t turn in and the battery light is flashing green. I took the battery out and plugged it in to the adapter. It is now flashing green then red, and the power button flashes white but it still won’t turn on. Does that mean my adapter isn’t working properly? I don’t understand why, it’s only a few months old.

The flashing green LED usually indicates a charging problem. This could be the power adapter, motherboard, or battery.

Shut down the laptop, take the battery out, and try to start the laptop up with only the power adapter. If it doesn't start, you may have an adapter problem.
