Background and Identification ¶
The Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 is the first generation of the Pop tablets and runs on the Android system. At the time of its release in February 2014, it was considered to be the lightest and thinnest entry-level tablet available running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It weighs less than half a pound and has a 7 inch display screen. This model is available in either white or black and is identified by the ALCATEL onetouch logo in the middle of the back cover. The specific model number is located at the bottom of the back cover.
The Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 is purchased through a mobile carrier because it requires a service plan for connection without Wi-Fi. This device features a 5 megapixel back camera and a VGA front camera, and also includes Light, Proximity, and G sensors. This product claims to have a 2.5 hour charging time and 500 hours of standby battery life.
The Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 has since been updated and newer models are available.
