Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 Microphone Replacement

Introduction

In the case that your Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 Tablet is not registering sound when recording, their may be a problem with the microphone. This guide will show you how to replace the microphone within this device.

What you need

Step 1 Back Cover

Begin by opening SD port cover as this is the best location to start prying.

Use the plastic opening tool to pry around the edges of the back cover until it pops off.

Disconnect battery by pulling up on the ZIF connector with precision tweezers for safety.

Remove the Microphone from it's slot with the precision tweezers.
