screen shows transformer and wall outlet
I pod sounds like its running but want do anything.all it shows is a wall outlet and a transformer on screen its like its froze up

You need to plug it in to a power supply or computer, it needs to update the firmware, but can't since it has nothing to tether to. If you shut it off now, you will "Brick" it.

Well it might need to hooked up to a wall charger to charge it.. did you try restoring it? Maybe if you restore it again it will fix the problem..?
