Possible broken LCD logic board connection

Not exactly sure what the problem is. I was testing a separate screen on my current iPhone 4S logic board without fully taking everything apart. I disconnected the two cables for the LCD and digitizer and attempted to plug the two connections of the screen I was testing. Due to the awkward angle, making a connection between the screen and logic board was difficult. I am not sure if I may have broken something off of the logic board in my attempt to test the screen (definitely forced a connection), but now the LCD of the original screen does not work at all while the digitizer still does. I have tried to replace the screen and still receive the same result. Does this seem fixable or is the phone essentially useless now without a working LCD connection?

Not sure if these pictures are helpful, but here they are anyway:
