Replaced LCD/Digitizer No screen display

I have an Iphone 3gs 32GB and the LCD and digitizer screen was cracked. I replaced the two screens by removing the three cables attached. When I plug the iphone into charger, the iphone does make the sound as if its charging and even when I plug it into the computer, it appears on itunes so i know the phone is working but I just have no display screen.

I'm trying to figure out if its because I didn't plug in the LCD cable (No. 1) completely or if there could be another reason. There are no signs of water damage.

First step is Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to start itself. Try this a couple of times. If still no display, turn OFF iPhone, open and reseat Flex Cable #1 perfectly. Close it back up and try it again. Even after reseating #1, you may have to try the Reset again. Hopefully this is not the "No Backlight" issue where there is faint image on screen. You could try to Restore the Firmware with iTunes. If all this fails could be faulty LCD Display.
