No display very dim backlight and constant vibrating every 5 seconds

please help. I have done a conversion but now nothing is happening, i placed the fone on charge and it keeps vibrating every 5 secs or so and only get very dim backlight only really noticeable in the dark..itunes recognises the fone and iv done a restore...iv tried my old lcd and its doing the same now, I know iv definately damaged the old lcd/digitizer which worked before cnversion(i stuck my screw driver in it thinkin i could just swap the lcd and digitizer dumb i know)i also think i damaged the lcd cable on the new kit...could this be the cause?but why would the lcd or digitizer make my fone vibrate if it was damaged? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!
