The same is with my camera. Thank god I found this forum. My camera's screen is pitch black except for the bottom right side of it. I can see a small portion of the camera's view. I know the camera Is still functional because I tried to take a photo with it and it was successful. I saw the photo I took through my laptop. I just don't know where to buy the reuquired parts (such as the screwdrivers or OLED screen) . Does anyone think it's a possibility that the screen is just somehow disconnected ? There's no cracks or physical damage on my screen except for a few small scratches. It just fell on my wooden floor is all.

Hector, "I saw the photo I took through my laptop" that pretty much excludes your CMOS. I would definitely start with the LCD display. The Display is definitely available at ebay.com. a good Phillips screwdriver should be available in most hardware stores. Just follow the guide listed in the original answer. Hope this helps, good luck.

uwalty, you can get it from here and I am sure at many other places. Here is the guide for the replacement. My concern at this time would be that your screen is not showing anything. I would make sure that all the connectors are properly seated and all cables are in good working order. Usually a broken screen will still show some reaction. take a quick look at the Sony troubleshooting right here as well. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks

This was one of the honest reponses i received.

As i mentioned in my request earlier, the screen is intact, no physical damage seen to it. Yes, it may be some sort of cable connection problem, but i am not an expert to find it out.

I would like to send the Camera to you. Would it be possible for you to identify the problem, then quote for a fix?

Would appreciate your response

uwalty, than you for your confidence. Now, I am not an electronics professional, this is just my hobby. I could never charge anyone for any repair:-) but I am glad to try and help you. First, take a look at the connectors and the logic board itself. Click on this link, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX100V it will show you how to replace the screen, and it will clearly show you the connectors. That may be the place to start. Let me know what you find, it may be possible for you to fix it yourself. Again, I will be glad to help you with that. My concerns would be that it is possible that it is a lens error or a CMOS error, which could be a bit more involved....
