Where is the fuel filter

John Dyer, interesting where you find the filter on the Spectra. It is located on the inside of the fuel tank and it is a part of the Fuel Pump Assembly.You have to remove and replace is as an assembly. To get to it, remove the back seat, and there is an access panel for the fuel pump. It does sound like it is very involved and if you have trouble with your Kia, I would most certainly do other things first. Part #19 on the diagram is the fuel filter. Hope this helps, good luck.
